Day at the Park =)

I have decided to try to write about my adventures with my sweet little boy Nicholas. Today was a great day with my little man. My best friend Lori came up from Caryville with her two children, Emma and Bryson. We decided to take the children to the park so they could play.

Nicholas ran and laughed and played until he could go no more! He loves to run and tumble. He loves to try to climb the rock wall. He said "momma" I can't do it. But he tried and that was good
enough for me.

I love to watch him slide. He has sheer determination in his eyes as he climbs each stair that leads to the beloved slide he so loves to go down. My vacation with him will come to an end on Friday as I have to go back to work on Saturday.

We are taking him to the Circus on Thursday and it will be his first.

Vacation Time in February

Vacation time is always an exciting time for me. Waking up on the first day and realizing that I do not have to go to work = a smile on my face. Sometimes the best vacations we have had are those that we don't plan at all. We just get into the car with bags packed and take off! I am off for eight wonderful days and my sweet husband had taken those days off too...so off we are going!
The weather is supposed to be beautiful all week and we are excited about that.

Today I am thankful for my family, my home, my job, and this steaming cup of coffee that I am about to drink.

I am so very blessed to have all that God has given to me and so grateful that we have been allowed to have this time together. So I am off to scan the web to see what kind of adventure we can begin today.....
